WHAT IS CROSSFIT KIDS?
CrossFit KIDS is not simply a scaled down version of CrossFit, it is entirely, and absolutely CrossFit geared and designed for the specific developmental needs of children ages 5-13. And it's super FUN!
CROSSFIT KIDS CLASS STRUCTURE:
Kids (ages 5-9) and Juniors (ages 9-13) work out together 2 days a week (Mondays & Wednesdays) and Juniors have a 3rd day per week on Fridays. Each class is designed to challenge and encourage all the different age groups appropriately. We have several on staff to help all levels of kids!
We also host an Annual CrossFit KIDs Competition at the end of each school year. We prepare all the kids for this special day! The kids love to showcase their skills and parents are always invited to help! We also invite other kids from our community to participate in this fun event! This event is FREE to our athletes.

MONDAYS & WEDNESDAYS
Kids (ages 5-13) will begin with a group warm up, move into some focus time on a particular skill set, begin their WOD (workout of the day), then end with a cool down or game. Nutrition and healthy living is also discussed in classes. All workouts are customized to each child so that they are safe, but also challenged in their workouts.
Fridays are for kids ages 9-13 only...the" Juniors". CrossFit Juniors will be completing the WOD that the rest of the gym does on Fridays. Coaches will modify the workouts for the Juniors and their individual skills. The Juniors get to record their WOD results on the main WOD board with the adults! This is a really incredible time that the kids get a feel for what real CrossFit classes are like in preparation for graduating to BASIC Training classes at age 14. We have had many kids complete KIDS classes and move into regular classes with great success!
