Meet Coach Jen!

LEVEL 1 CERTIFIED CROSSFIT TRAINER, YOGA RYT 500 HOUR

Coach Jen started CrossFit for the first time in 2016, then again after a hiatus in 2018.
She started CrossFit out of curiosity even though it looked so intimidating! She fell in love with all the movements, the sense of accomplishment and how she felt after each workout. She is still intimidated at times but feels so good when she pushes herself. She is not too competitive naturally and has learned to be more competitive with herself. 


Jen’s favorite WODs are the Guillotine (pull ups, stones, sledgehammers, and farmer carries) and the annual Tough Rubber Obstacle Course. Her favorite thing about CrossFit Puyallup is how we offer so much variety and she appreciates the sense of support & community.  
Her favorite CrossFit movement is the rope climb and her favorite accomplishments so far are the rope climb and crossing all the rings in the tough rubber. 


She became a trainer because everything about the body fascinates her. Especially movement, mobility and nutrition. I love to help people learn and identify their individual needs so they can help their bodies function, recover and thrive outside the gym. She like these are the necessary tools for maintaining a healthy body and mind in daily life. 
When Jen is not in the gym, she enjoys being outside in all seasons. If inside, she likes board games and naps.
